When to use BCC logging
Section titled “When to use BCC logging”- You use an email client that isn’t Gmail or Outlook
- Your admin hasn’t configured OAuth yet
- You want a simple way to log key emails without automatic sync
- You only need to capture outgoing emails to clients
When to use full email sync
Section titled “When to use full email sync”- You use Gmail or Outlook
- You want all emails captured automatically without manual work
- You need to see complete email threads on contact and deal pages
- You want to compose and reply to emails directly from the CRM
- You want both incoming and outgoing emails logged
Using both together
Section titled “Using both together”You can use both approaches at the same time:
- Full sync captures everything automatically from your Gmail/Outlook
- BCC logging captures emails sent from other clients (e.g., mobile apps, other email accounts)
There’s no conflict — they complement each other.
